RYAN CHRISTIE has admitted his red card lunge at Livingston was a SHOCKER.
The Celtic star opened his heart after a week when he took pelters for the studs-up challenge on Scott Robinson that left his team down to ten men.
The champions went on to lose 2-0 — and Christie was forced off social media by the level of abuse in the aftermath.
But he said: “I knew straight away it was a shocking challenge.
“I had no complaints with the ref. It was a terrible challenge.
“Scott was all right about it and so was their manager Gary Holt.

“I think they realised I’m not that kind of player and I hold my hands up about it.
“I was just frustrated with the way I started the game and I ended up lunging in. That’s when you can hurt someone and I was gutted.”
