CELTIC superfan Martin Compston reckons Ryan Christie should be offered a 20-year deal.
The Hoops attacker was the hero for Neil Lennon’s men as he scored from the spot to ensure their match against Rennes ended 1-1.
The star man’s second-half penalty was enough for the Scottish champions to earn a draw in what was a closely fought contest in Brittany.
And while it was a sound team performance from the Hoops, famous Scots actor Compston called on the Parkhead board to sign Christie on a new LONG-term deal.
He tweeted: “Offer Ryan Christie a 20yr deal.”
The praise for Christie was further met by Celtic idol Chris Sutton, who also took to social media to say the midfielder has “big balls”.
He said: “Mature performance from Neil Lennon’s Celtic.
“Ridiculous decision not to award Celtic another penalty… 1-1… Celtic hard done by.
“Jullien commanding at the back once again.
